Top 5 One-Way Smokes On Nuke

Here’s DreamTeam’s next installment of the Throw Like a Pro series. This one’s dedicated to some useful one-way smokes on Nuke. So let’s not waste any more time and find out how to get an advantage over your opponents playing on the CT side.

One-Way Smoke #1: Locker window

This smoke will save you from being spotted at the locker position through the window, while you’ll still be able to see the Ts’ rotations in the area between T Red Box and Big Garage/Secret.

To throw it correctly, do the following:

– Break out the left part of the window

– Jump up the window frame

– Set your crosshair onto the left-bottom corner of the window

– Throw your smoke with RMB

– Crouch near the right corner of the window to see your opponents in the outside area

One-Way Smoke #2.1: Lower corridors. Back Of Vents.

You can use the cover of the following smoke to slow down the Ts rushing lower through vents and/or secret.

To throw it correctly, do the following:

– Stand at the back of vents stairs on the third step from the top

– Turn toward the B site

– Set your crosshair onto the third step

– Throw your smoke with RMB, so it lands as close to the corner between the step and the wall as possible

– Crouch near the opposite side of the stairs to spot your opponents moving across the corridor

One-Way Smoke #2.2: Lower corridors. Double doors stairs.

This smoke is similar to the previous one. It will help you prevent the Ts from rushing the lower site from another position.

To throw it correctly, do the following:

– Stand at the double door stairs on the third step from the top

– Turn toward the B site

– Set your crosshair onto the third step

– Throw your smoke with RMB, so it lands as close to the corner between the step and the wall as possible

– Crouch near the opposite side of the stairs to spot your opponents entering corridors through secret

One-Way Smoke #3: Tetris

This smoke will help you stop the Ts from entering the upper site through main.

To throw it correctly, do the following:

– Jump up the hut and stand above tetris (above the big box corner)

– Look vertically down and set your crosshair onto this corner

– Throw your smoke with RMB

– Stay on the top of hut at the edge of your smoke looking toward main

One-Way Smoke #4: Ramp

The following smoke will help you hold the radio angle without being spotted

To throw it correctly, do the following:

– Jump up the railing

– Throw your smoke with RMB between the railing and big box

– Move toward the end of the yellow railing at ramp to be able to spot your opponents at radio

One-Way Smoke #5: Secret

This one-way at the secret entrance will help you hold the Ts rotations in the area around T red box.

To throw it correctly, do the following:

– Stand in the corner of the staircase of the secret stairs

– Move your crosshair vertically upward

– Set your crosshair above the lamp, slightly to the right of the right white texture

– Throw your smoke with LMB

– Move up the stairs a bit to be able to see the Ts’ rotations behind T red box

As a bonus, we’re giving you several variations of this smoke for your arsenal.

One-Way Smoke #5: Secret v2

This smoke will help you hold the angle of the opposite side of T red box and top of silo.

To throw it correctly, just place your smoke in the gap between the railing and the wall at the secret entrance and throw your smoke with RMB.

One-Way Smoke #5: Secret v3

This smoke is similar to the previous one. It takes longer to execute it, but it’s a much safer play.

To throw it correctly, do the following:

– Stand on the top step of the lower secret steps looking toward T red box

– Align yourself with the small dark ledge on the railing, approach that spot, and turn around

– Set your crosshair onto the top-left corner of the railing above you on the right

– Move your crosshair left until your crosshair meets the vertical line of the corrugated wall, second from the left

– Throw your smoke with LMB

One-Way Smoke #5: Secret v4

If you play at secret, but don’t have a smoke, your teammate at main can easily support you with his. This is also going to be a one-way smoke; you should just use it slightly differently.

To throw it correctly, your teammate has to do the following:

– Stand in the corner of main, still inside, so he can see the secret entrance

– Set his crosshair onto the lamp above the secret entrance

– Throw his smoke with LMB

At the moment his smoke blooms, you need to be in secret and then jump up on the railing at the secret entrance. Now you will see the whole area around T red box.

Now your CT side on Nuke will be even stronger. Keep in mind that using smoke tips on any map too often will make your opponents aware of your tactics, so you’ve got to make sure you’re switching it up. Find more ways to keep the opposing team off-balance in the educational section of our blog.
